The Unexpected
Minna-san ohayou gozaimasu. (Good morning everyone.)
Ok fine it's now wayy into noon. Konnichiwa! (Good afternoon!) Had breakfast with my uncles just now. So nice of them to call me along coz they know that i'm alone at home. Had a nightmare and was desperately trying to wake up. Then my phone rang. I was like thinking 'Hey this ring tone's so familiar!' But yeah I quickly snapped into reality and sprang outta bed. Saved by the ringtone! Haha. Felt so accomplished today coz I managed to eat one whole bowl of noodles with chili! I can't eat chili and told the hawker no chili but ohwells. Such things do happen. My uncles were like "You can anot? You can anot?" I was like "Can. Can." Took my first bite with a little 'trepidation'. Chewed for a while. My uncles leaned in, their eyes were so huge! Haha! I was like "Still ok ar." (honestly I was quite surprised that I could take it!) Then they sighed in relief and went back to their food. Haha! I felt so loved even with this small gesture. *beams* This really is what it means to be a Family. ;)) Oh yes, I just had a realisation last night that my bro has changed quite a fair bit. He's actually nice to me! (Dun huh me. I've been bickering with my bro for how many years man.) I recalled the time when I told him that I wanted to play this game called Taiko (a Japanese drum game) and asked if he could download it into his PSP so I could play it (most of his games are basically off-limits to me). He gave me that horrified wth-why-should-i-let-you face. I kept pleading and pleading (omg. my dignity went down the drain just for a game?!) but he just shook his head vigorously (my bro's a drama-king!) complaining that his memory card had no more space blah and walked away. Later that night he told me that the Taiko drum game was in the process of downloading (23.something% then). I was like O_O! He said he deleted most of his other stuff just to accommodate this huge game. So there I was, yayying like there's no tmr while my bro pretended to stab me in agony. Last night too! I asked if I could play that Taiko game on the way home from religious class. He was like "Noo!!! I wanna listen to my songs!!" Let's watch CLANNAD instead!" My response? =__________= But when we were on the train he kept his earphones and handed me the PSP. "What?", I asked. "You wanna play right." He said matter-of-a-factly. O.O!! I couldn't contain myself and blurted out, "Why are you so nice to me?" And he gave the huh-wth-are-you-saying face again (but i thought i detected a 'so just shuddup and play your game'). We took turns to play that game in the end but I was really happy. I can't help it... I've been so used to guys being labelled as "jerks", etc (sorry guys! 4yrs in an all-girls sch!) that I usually become suspicious when a guy is nice to me. Abigail (Loh) once said before that I "was the meanest person she's ever met" and that I "seem to hate the male species or something." and added that I have to "be nice". Haha! Having since gone thru the first 3 months of JC, I've become alot nicer ok (dun worry Abigail! xD)! [Dun ask me to define 'alot' ar. I shall leave that unanswered. ;))] Alright. It's about time I return to my weekend hw... Must finish: -GP ws -PI of PW -Bio MCQ -Bio Tut -Chem online test. Will post another entry in the evening if I can to check back on what I've completed. Oh, and hopefully figure out how to make those links work and also to change the font colour in the boxes on the right to a diff colour. (Hot pink is so not me!) Oh yeah, and also to make my entry titles VISIBLE. Jyaa! |
