Happy April Fools' Day!

April Fools' wasn't as "fun" as it used to be when we were younger. This morning, like every other morning, 1T30 was still trying to finish choinging hw: some teaching, some learning, some talking, some stoning, others sleeping. It wasn't until Yang Qing's "Hey today's chem test. You study already?" that we were reminded of today's date.

But prior to that: "CHEM TEST?! WHAT CHEM TEST?! GOT MEH? I TOT NEXT WEEK?!" Everyone had their 'freaking-out' mode switched on.

"Got. Today lah. The chem test."

Meanwhile, Daniel - was it Daniel? - was "Yeah right"-ing away.

And the rest of us were like "Wah biang dun scare us leh..."

*sigh* At a tender age of 16/17, we were already devoting our precious youth to the numerous hw, ccas and how-not-to-flunk-our-tests.

"Eh you all got no April Fools' spirit one leh..." Yang Qing pouted.

o_O *looks at watch* "Oh, it's 1st April," I said. I think I was still half-awake then.

The rest were like "Yang Qing! Not funny ar! Okok assembly now."

How eventful indeed.

DO YOU KNOW?
During morning prayers, the councillor mentioned about April Fools' Day and that there's actually a history behind it you know!! 1st April used to be New Year's Day according to the erm... dunno-what calendar (can't rmb the name!). As time went by, the calendar was changed to the Gregorian calendar - which is what we have today - , and New Year's Day was then changed to 1st Jan. However, many ppl were uninformed about this change and continued to celebrate New Year's Day on 1st April. The rest laughed at these ppl and called them fools. And there we have it. April Fools' Day! Cool, eh? (Ok if you want the proper explanation, please look it up on your own coz I'm saying this based on my memory - which you prob have realised, may not be very reliable.)

...Omg... Sista Weelat just sent me a msg that says "Call me urgently. Bad news abt you." Thank god I rmbed the wonderful date today. Nevertheless I still called him back and wished him a happy april fools'. Haha! (Thanks Sista! You brought a smile to my emo face today xDD) We chatted for a very short time but during which he had to entertain 3 calls and had like 7 more withheld. Well done Sista. The next time you do that, be sure to send about 2 at a time... not 1000 at a time... =_=''' It was a short convo but we both had a good laugh, and I think he's still laughing away at the incoming calls. Tsk tsk Sis! This shows how much ppl care abt you - oh whoops judging from the context of the msg... This shows how much ppl care to know abt themselves thru you coz they trust you - ok?! And you're laughing at them like there's no tmr! Shame on you! *wags finger; shakes head* He said today at the stroke of 1pm his whole calss just stood up from their seats and walked outta da classroom, not to mention slam the door behind them... The teacher was like "Eh where you going?! Sit down!" Then the class returned and said Happy April Fools'. The teacher was like "I knew it!!" Haha so cute!! xDD

oh darn. now i miss jj. like alot alot. freak.
