Reflections of da day.

Got sore throat... Bahh. Since yesterday. When my voice worsens, it's supposed to become sexy can? Today it just became...cracked. Sheesh. But then after sch I talked, talked, talked until dunno why my voice came back. o_O Not that I mind of course! Now my throat's not as dry and itchy at least and my voice is relatively normal... I now conclude that talking helps your throat to recover! xDDD

Oh yeah got runny nose too. Just now was reading the papers. Saw Home frontpage about Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) being at its highest number of cases since a long time ago. Zoomed in on the "How to detect symptoms of HFMD".
Da 1st thing I saw? "Sore throat" Yikes! 2nd thing I saw? "Runny nose" Crap. Then I saw "Rashes on hand, leg...", "Mouth ulcers", "Fever..." Was beginning to get a lil' worried...and started looking for such signs on my own self. Phew! Thank goodness! So far what I'm experiencing right is ONLY 2 of the symptoms. I know HFMD frequently occurs amongst the kids, but doesn't mean that young adutls (I refuse to call myself "older ppl") dun get it right... *shudder* So scary!

Played floorball during PE today!! We girls agreed to cheer on the guys when they're doing their chin-ups but becoz Mr Whitepants started with some other station we just pangseh-ed them (in a way) and zao-ed to play floorball, in preparation for the coming Sports Carnival. Seriously, floorball should be renamed as airball (in this case) becoz half the time the ball was literally flying in mid-air when we chased after it and 'tackled' it from the other team! Germaine kept making us laugh coz she did weird things like picking up the ball with her hand in the middle of the game, or kicking it with her foot, or simply screaming after it when it was gonna roll outta da court. Chang Yong jokingly wanted to disqualify her even tho they were in the same team! Then during the 2nd half of da game Germaine suddenly yelled out, "I'm tempted to pick up the ball with my hand!" And everyone was like "NOOOO!!!!" Mel and I both felt that we were tired more becoz of all da laughing then becoz of all da running and whacking. 3-3 was the final score. Draw! Nice one, Nic and Shirley-Whirley!

Lecture after PE is a TORTURE. I've never ever fallen asleep during Econs lec before... Today I almost went to lalaland FIVE times... Even YQ caught my eyes closing! If only we had time to shower after PE...but then again today supposed to have heats so... *sigh* But then, if the lecturer was Mr Seah I would never fall asleep ;DD Too bad dun have him as our Econs teacher... *sobs* I came to CJ coz of Econs... I dun wish to regret this decision. We have like, the "best" 'cher in the world mann. T_T

Which reminds me... Heats today got postponed to next Mon coz of the rain... =_= Wasted my time!! Could have gone for training... T_T Zhao-cai-mao!!!!

Got back Bio CA. Failed. As expected. The fact that I had 2 digits was already amazing. YQ didn't fare well either. Poor girl, she studied very hard for it... I've never seen her so disappointed in my life mann. This shows that she's really taking her studies seriously. And what am I doing for myself? The honeymoon period is wayyyy over man, yet I'm still so un-serious abt my work. It's time I change man. All my JJ pals are already giving their best in their studies. How can I allow myself to lag behind? A new beginning, a new me!

Nic gave a real good verbal "slap" back to "uncle sam" for his comment on Tudor for not singing in pitch. Honestly, I have to admit with Nic, it's not like "uncle sam" himself sings in pitch... *sigh* What is da world coming to man? Even Tudor is beginning to sing out loud everywhere he goes. Sounds familiar? I half-yelled at him to quit singing coz I was already feeling so pek-chek from the heat and all the sweat (all thanks to PE in da sun...). But I didn't like, yell outta anger. It was a yell of exasperation! I did tell him to sing on non-PE days tho...so I'm not ALL bad kkkkk! Tudor, my wonderful-tall-Romanian-heavy-metal-headbanging-half-deaf twin, understood, but went on singing anyway. =_= Seriously...

Today heard that CJ Rugby will vs. JJ Rugby this sat?! Anyone with any info abt this please tell me!
