Celebrating in STYLE
Finally! Time to myself!

After a busy day of HOUSEWORK, I can finally blog a quick post before showering and leaving for religious class later. Mum still wanted me to vacuum my room just now, after I've typed the 1st sentence in this post. But I made such a sulky face and complained until she let me do it tmr. Still feeling a lil sour abt it tho. xP

Today is the first day of my TRUE holiday. (By holiday I mean every single miserable aspect of my JC1 is over, namely: promos and OP.)

Nic said the 1st thing to do after OP is to hibernate. This, which I did oh-so-successfully. Finally dragged my lazy bum outta my bed at 1.30pm. Yes, pm! I had no plans for today so just had lunch while watching Waterboys 2. Was thinking of contacting someone - anyone - to go out with until Mum made me do housework.

So much for asking ppl where I should party at today. =_=

I shall proceed to blog abt ytd's happening:

OP's finally over! Can still rmb Hutt's incessant "Friday eh! Friday eh!". OP was scary, sure it was, but we realised that much of our fear stems from ourselves, instead the actual OP. Managed to pull off our trailer in the end, even tho there was one impt scene which I left out coz my com shut down before I could save that scene the night before. The audience seemed pretty impressed by our self-drawn and self-made CD-roms (complete with front and back covers) and poster but alas, the accessing teachers merely took a split-second's glance at placed them down. Ming Hwee and I were like D: as we hoped they would at least spend another second looking at it. Sheesh. Mr Teo said it's ok coz this showed that at least we had engagement (he stressed this word with hand actions) with the audience. Ohwells.

Thank you Hutt, Ming Hwee and Kenley! You've all made my PW experience a wonderful and enjoyable one, and you guys have impacted me in so many ways. Thank you for putting in so much effort in our PW and always going the extra mile! May our friendship continue strong in the years to come. ;D

After OP, Hutt and Ming Hwee msged everyone that our OP was over! Haha. Kenley and I just watched on "helplessly" coz we both burst our free-msg counter. Thereafter, we were still deciding where to celebrate and all. Thank god we kept reminding each other where to go or we would end up like our class - deciding on place alone takes 2 miserable hours with plenty of stoning in b/w. Upon Hutt's suggestion, we trooped down to Far East's Subway. He kept saying I was crazy! It's not my fault that I saw someone what.. Sheesh. ANYWAYS, Hutt left after lunch while Ming Hwee, Kenley and I walk-walked at Far East.

Oh yeah, revelation of the year award: Kenley DOES go out! He's actually NORMAL!!

Spent the whole of ytd calling him GEEK. Haha! xD Besides studying, playing Maple and watching TV, Kenley claims that he DOES go out - with the class. =_= So much for my revelation of the yr award.. Poor dude, he had to follow us wherever we went - mostly girly shops! And even waited outside those apparel shops silently with no complaints. He even offered to carry our bags from time to time. WHOA, baby, WHOA.

Before he left, Hutt suggested that we get tattoos since we didn't know what to do. xD I said I'm terrified of the pain while Ming Hwee said she didn't like them. But upon deciding on temporary tattoos (getting them on a slight impulse), Ming Hwee chose the rose-pattened ones! Haha! But Kenley was such a good sport that he let us choose any design for him. I felt a lil guilty so I chose the smallest rose for him. Ming Hwee put hers on her left hand and kept pointing to so many random things just so we could see her 'tattoo'! She can be such a CRAZY shopper too! Must go out with her again mann.

Kenley and Ming Hwee, we MUST go shades-shopping today again ok! And 'tattoos'-shopping too!

You wouldn't believe this. I actually went KTV-ing with Jia Yi, Xuannie, Jiong Yu and Jia Hao! Yes, another revelation of the year award: I actually sang!
No no no, not my usual belting-outta-tune-until-the-class-ta-boleh-tahan-begs-me-to-stop. I actually sang, sang! It was a frightening experience tho. I realised that if I wanted to sing properly, I'd be fearful of the mic! Jia Hao was good - duh - choir boy (but very emo singer..xD), Jiong Yu was cool man, he chose so many difficult songs (Think One Night in Beijing - he sang both the male and female parts)! Xuannie was shocking (she can reach Ayumi's pitch and then go even lower than Jiong Yu!). And Jia Yi? Jia Yi was sensational! I'd pay to hear her sing mann! There weren't many songs I knew so only mouthed/sang those I knew. Which I think came to erm 4 songs? Heh. I really miss the song Won't Go Home Without You. My very first blog song! Shall put it up again ba. ;D

Thank you guys, I really enjoyed my after-OP celebration. ;D

Can understand why my peers love KBox-ing so much.

Quotes Of The Day, baby:

Ming Hwee: "Hey let's dress Kenley up!" xD
Me: "Oh yeah man!" ;D
Kenley: "Wait, WHAT?!"o_O

Me: You got go out, go out anot? Like, NOT class-outing that kind. Like, you change into outing clothes, step outta the house, and go out eh."
Kenley: "I got go out lah, it's just that nobody asks me out mahh."
Me: "Coz all of your friends are geeks too right." =_=

Song 2:
