There has been a sudden influx of rainbows lately. Ok maybe not a sudden influx. But it's nice seeing the beauty of nature again - more than once - after so long.

I hate rain. Have always, may always. But there will be no (significant) rainbows w/o rain right? Having read and tagged on Jyonyu-kun's blog, it suddenly dawned onto me that perhaps it's the heavens' way of telling us those "light-at-the-end-of-the-eternally-dark-tunnel" theories. How we usually won't get to see 'em rainbows until we've braved the cruel storm.

There's something abt 'em rainbows. They sorta signify a ray of hope for most. When we see a rainbow, we feel a sense of calmness and a tinge of those Life-can-indeed-get-better feel-good mmts. Even for those who dun feel anything "hopeful" after seeing 'em rainbows also think that they're pretty.

I was just commenting to Zita that thankfully rainbows are not an everyday thing. Or they would have lost their significance and wonder.
