Lizard-Mania!!
Something scary funny happened in class recently.

A lizard decided to pay a visit to T29.

And what a arousing welcome of screams it received.

Some classmates said they spotted that lovely web-footed terrorist striding up and down the class floor so we - the girls, more specifically - were on high alert. But we soon took our safety for granted and totally forgot abt it.

When we returned from break, I went back to my seat, but had to bend down to pick something thing up. Then Yu Xun spoke.

YX: Hey Qiao Yi are you scared of lizards?
Me: *looks up at him* *raises eyebrow* Why?
YX: Coz I saw it running towards the direction of your seat.
Me: *pretends to look scared and lifts bag from seat*

AND THE FRIGGIN' NINJA OF A TERRORIST OF A LIZARD TOTALLY JUMPED OUT FROM BESIDE MY BAGGGG.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

Screaming for all my life's worth, scaring Terence into jumping outta his seat too I leapt into safety as the terrorist leapt into action!

"LIZARD!!! LIZARD!!!" I yelled and pointed frantically in the direction it was scampering off to.

"AHHH!!" *jumps aside*
"AHHH!!" *runs away*
"AHHH!!" *leaps aside*
"HAHA!!"
"AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

The last womanly screech actually came from Frederick who was imitating the girls with glee. =_=

And that ridiculous "Haha" came from dearest Quincy who went high from all those girlish screams. *rolls eyes*

Quin: HAHA!! I'm like super high now coz of all the girls' screams!
Me: What?! You not scared meh?
Quin: Scaredd. But 4 years never hear leh! Even for guys who are scared, they only go ARHH not nice one!
Me: Eew sicko!

The terrorist dashed off to seek refuge under Elise's table. And she totally screammmmeddddd and backed off in a flash. We helped remove everything from under the table and banged it, but still that stubborn terrorist refused to budge! Tudor and Michelle then flipped the whole table around and having been discovered, the terrorist decided against declaring war and proceeded to escape!

Tudor tried cupping in his hands while the rest of the class watched in.. Well, we watched on.

(At this point Frederick made a not-so-nice comment which sent the whole class bursting in laughter but I still shan't put it down here.)

The terrorist was finally caught and finally exterminated flung outta the class somehow. Thinking that he had deliberately put it on my seat, I turned to face Yu Xun angrily.

Only to find that he was squatting in his chair, refusing to put his feet on the ground. =_=

Me: Did you put that lizard on my seat?!
YX: NOO! It's so gross lah! I saw it run thereee.
Quin: Pls lah girl, you see him! He looks more scared than you lah, do you think he'll put it with his own hands?!

I turned to face the chair-squatting Yu Xun again.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!"

ANYWAYS.

Saw these 2 poems on Terence's lit notes so decided to copy 'em down(: Really love the first one. But I wasn't expecting the 2nd one to be so emo, so pls do excuse the emo-ism.

Disclaimer: I didn't copy the 2nd one down coz it meant something to me - or anyone for that matter - just that I tot it was pretty good.

Enjoy(:

Quotes Of The Day, baby:

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep (by Mary E. Frye)
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Funeral Blues (by Wystan Hughes Auden)
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; out out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
