I really enjoyed myself. Thanks guys! :-*
AND the craves for that awesome vegetarian shop near S11 go on..
On tue, we were greeted with a sign that said that the shop would be closed till Labour Day. Da Ge was like goin' mad big time, with all that chantin' of "NUMBER SEVEN NUMBER SEVEN NUMBER SEVEN!!" (No. 7 is the order that tops all 'em charts in that shop)
But we promised ourselves that during the 黄族 outing, we'll head down to THAT shop for lunch to kick-start our outing
properly (And to help some drug addict get his rehab..)
(On Thur)
DG: "If tml the shop not open ah. I'm gonna burn it down. I'm bringing one bottle of kerosene. Hahaha."
And guess what?
On Labour Day, DG said that the shop declared that it would be closed until further notice.
(Upon hearin' the news)
Me: OMG.. *pauses* So did you bring your kerosene bottle?
DG: I'm gonna buy now actually..
Me: HAHAHAHA!!!
But it wasn't so bad in that we all went to Pizza Hut for lunch instead. Ordered Veggie Lovers Pan Pizza but forgot to ask for the removal of onions.. (Mann, I tell ya that onions are just awesomtastically damagin' to me digestive system yo!) Anyways, JM was checkin' himself out in the mirror every 10 seconds! I mean, lookin' at your reflection is fine, but lookin'
and laughin' at your "awesome-ness" is just..scary..!
*Alright alright. Allow me to clarify that he wasn't actually laughin' at himself. Just that when he was checkin' his reflection (like turnin' his face this way and that), we were lookin' at him in such a o_O way that he couldn't help but laugh at
our facial expressions. xDD
DG: Now I know why he didin't wanna sit on the cushioned seat against the wall..
MM and I: HAHA!
Oh did I mention that JM looks
remarkably skinnier well-built
and shape-lier. All thanks to his discipline and self-motivation! Congrats Xiao Di! Keep it up! ^^
We went for a movie next, and decided (quite impulsively) that we were gonna watch Horsemen.
Me: *reads* "Some violence and disturbing scenes".. Is it Nc16 for gore?
JM: "Disturbin' scenes" is not "Gore".
Me: Oh "gore" would be written as "gore" right?
JM: Yeah.
MM: So Horsemen?
DG: After Knowing ar..
Me: Yeah what if it's another FAIL movie eh?
JM: It's ok. I can take one more bad movie for the year. *takes out his wallet*
And that's how we got our Horsemen ticks.
I must say the movie was pretty good eh. It has its fair share of gross scenes, but not enough to make you puke, no. I felt that I was ready to watch any Hollywood movie that Zhang Ziyi acted in. But I wasn't expectin' her to.. Alright. I ain't gonna reveal any spoilers. Have to say tho, her skin was so pale on-screen that more than half the time I had to remind myself that this wasn't a ghost movie. (Thanks, Unborn. =_=) The end wasn't like super-awesome with some un-shown parts, but you would have understood whatever happened after that anyways. I teared like a baby at the emo scene in the last part. Dunno why felt totally sad and stuff. But yeah, needless to say after we left the cinema I felt stupid. =X Everyone was pretty silent after the show. But no one blasted the show. So yeah. It was +ve! ;DD
An interesting qn came up during the movie, when Zhang Ziyi asked the detective, "Why do the ppl do the things they do?"
In my opinion, ppl do the things they do coz they feel empowered to be able to use their own hands to execute their own plans. They won't have to answer to no one, they would have less or no regrets and they would certainly be more than willing. The only difference b/w one's actions from another is probably conscience - or should I say - the lack of.
But anyways, thank goodness the timing for Wolverine sucked then, or we would have watched another horrid movie!
After the movie we went to drink Hong Kong Milk Tea!! OMG I LOVE HK MILK TEAA. And and, I'm proud to announce that I DIDN'T GO HIGH AFTER DRINKIN' IT!! Whoots! See see I told you guys that I can control the caffeine! xDD
Chatted the rest of the day away from that Wan Chai teahouse place to Coffee Bean (coz we didn't wanna hog the place too much =\)
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that from the start of the outing to the end of the outing and EVEN into the night, JM was goin' on and on and on and on abt exercisin', runnin', body-buildin', healthy-dietin' and whatnot. Ming Ming was a lil' freaked out by his total transformation and kept sayin', "What's wrong with JM ar? Why now he keep talking abt these kinda things?!" And even added to JM, "Next time I'll look for you when I wanna find a dietitian ok?" Haha. So cute lah she.
JM: Wait wait, take photo first.
Me: OH YEAH. Totally forgot mann.
JM: So.. did anyone bring a camera?
Everyone: *looks around*
Me: I have a phone!
JM: It's ok. I have a
photographic memory. It's just that I can't develop the photos out.
Everyone: HAHAHAHAHA!!!
The day ended with all of us leavin' for our respective venues for dinner.
This outing was simple, yet very very pleasant and enjoyable. Nothing beats spendin' awesome time with me awesome clan ppl! Love ya all!!
