LTC WAS AWESOME!!!

Sorry, me tots are like totally jumbled up right now with tons of words streamin' across me mind so this post may be a lil' disorganised ya. ^^;

It's funny lookin' back and rmbin' how apprehensive and reluctant I was before the camp. To think I actually asked JM to pray for me before I left! (but thanks anyway xiao di!)

There are so many many awesome things to recount abt the camp, but it's hard to put 'em down in words mann. Have to say, even the punishments were like wow, appropriate (most of the time)? They actually helped bond the entire camp tgt.

The camp has allowed me to have the privilege to meet wonderful, wonderful ppl like Gin, F-cia, Sheryl, Jan, Li Fen, Yong Ren, Ivan, Zhi Yoong, George, Glen monkey, Bryan and Selva; not forgettin' the awesome ppl that went thru the fire and back with us: Thad, Majella, Ms Baptist and Mr Jeff Ha. Thanks for all your lovely msgs ppl! Hope mine's good enough too! >< (And apologies to Sheryl for losin' the msg meant for you! Imma sooo find it/write you another one!) Lots of superbly funny quotes came up during the camp, couteosy of Yong Ren and Glen, but didn't get to take 'em down at all.

Cliche as this is gonna sound, LTC wouldn't have been great w/o everyone's participation and contribution. I always marvel at how ppl can become so close even if they've only hung out tgt for mere 3-and-a-half days!

As in any camp, the 'need' for drama always seems to arise. And whoa, such drama we were faced with mann. "OOOOPS!" (inside joke HAHA xD) And guys, I'm glad none of you actually executed the grand 'plans' meant for *ahemahem* you all kept talkin' and talkin' abt!

And oh yeah, NO MORE AMAZING RACE FOR ME MANN. I'm sooo not exercisin' for 'em next 2 weeks!!

I rmb tellin' me fellow team-mates the 8 things I swore to do once we got back to the rest of civilization:

1) Sleep
2) Drink bubble tea
3) Eat pizza
4) Drink milk
5) Sleep
6) Paint me nails (Adam Lambert-style)
7) Watch TV
8) Cut me hair

HAHA.

Ytd after returnin' home, goin' out to see doc (thanks Peiyi for accompanyin' me) and then returnin' home for good again, slept like a friggin' pig from 5+pm all the way till 11+pm. Me awesome 'rents were nice enough not to wake me up thank goodness, but poor Kou kept yellin' for me to do this-and-that to no avail.

(At 6+pm)
Kou: Hey help me to clean up the place first leh, I needa do something.
Me: Orh. Zzzzz.

(Some time later)
Kou: EH QIAO YI WAKE UP! DINNER!
Me: Orh. Zzzzzzzz.

(Some more time later)
Kou: WAKE UP LAH! DINNER!
Me: Orh. Zzzzzzzzzz.

When I did wake up finally, I was greeted with the family busy with their own stuff and there were no more dishes left for me. There was only rice left in the cooker, but thank goodness anyway. So I wanted to fry an egg for myself only to see no fryin' pans hangin' near the stove. After 5 min of askin' the wall (coz everyone ignored me), Dad finally came into the kitchen, took out one of the pans being stashed away in the cabinet.

Me: I tot we've another fryin' pan?
Dad: Huh? This one only what.
Me: No, got another one.
Dad: Oh that one thrown away alr.
Me: Oh.

Ok, so next was to put the oil into the pan right? Only to see no cookin' oil container at the cookin' area.

Me: Where's the oil?
Dad: Here. *takes the entire huge bottle of cookin' oil*
Me: I tot we always pour out some into a bowl?
Dad: No more bowl of oil already.
Me: Oh.

Really, was I gone for that long?!

That's all I can churn out from me frazzled mind. All in all the camp was yeah, OMG AWESOME FTW GREAT MARVELOUS FANTASTIC FUN AMAZING AWESOME OMG WAIT I THINK I'VE SAID THAT ALREADY.

Yeah.
