"Look away, Qiao, look away.."
And there my eyecandy goes.
"Look away, Qiao, look away.." Can't be too obvious. Haha. A lil' eyecandy never did hurt no one. Right? Haha. -- They chatted and laughed at each other's jokes as they strolled to their lecture theater, pencil cases and notes clutched in their hands. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I hid away from their view. In the event that I've to leave, or they've to leave - in time - I will not cry. -- A well-disliked 'guest' decides to form alliances with me crew. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Ain't gonna pick fights no more. Imma start with "try". -- My hands were shakin' by then. "Come lah, I help you calculate," says Olivia. She smiled slightly - I wonder what that meant - then showed me the final value, "You got S." 43.5%. One more mark would have guaranteed me an E for a full pass. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I couldn't. And didn't. Somehow. While I was actually genuinely glad that I actually got S for Bio (I never tot I'd ascend beyond the glorious U-grade), my heart skipped a beat. What, now? -- Another juicy piece of gossip. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Dang. Got tempted. -- Grandma smiled weakly as she was awakened to be notified that I was there. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I can't. And I won't. -- 2 properly dressed commuters wormin' their way smack into the two-feet-wide gap the huge mass of waitin' ones have left for the alightin' commuters, acting like the arrow and the indicators on the floor never existed. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Just. Shameless. -- The train passed by the station that I've been so accustomed to starin' wistfully at. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." The station I've now come to -- A sharp pain. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Stupid knee. -- A couple of msgs arrived. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Ain't gonna reply 'em. Yet. -- A blind musician playin' a very very familiar tune with a lady singin' in perfect harmony with his music. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I did, with a lil' guilt eatin' at my soul. But I did return tho, after visitin' the doc's, to buy my knee guard. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I did, but then I turned and, placed a two-buck note into the box. They really did such justice to The House of The Rising Sun, even tho it was sung in Mandarin. -- Another sale was goin' on at Lot 1. Tops started from 3 bucks to 12, and shoes from 10. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." No more mann, no more. I ain't gonna end up as a shopaholic. Gotta save for me Mexico 66 Tigers! -- As Fate would have had it, this grp of greenly-uniformed young ppl walked in front of me thruout the whole time I was tryin' to get outta Lot 1. Down the escalator, across the floors. Turned out that they were headin' out too. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I stared, quite rudely I think, at their greened backs. They left thru a diff exit. Thank God. -- Gals sluppin' on bubble tea. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." No more unhealthy drinks for now. -- Me: "Is Kou house-viewin' with you both?" Mum: "Yeah, it's just a couple of blocks away." Me: =_= "He left the fan on and the rice cooker switched off." "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Pfft. -- I switched on the tv during yet another late dinner. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." I couldn't, for Heroes 3 was playin'; then Prison Break. But I did look away. TV dulls the brains sometimes. I hate to admit that. Haha. -- A thread on my shorts came loose. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Shall mend it another time. -- I read something on a blog. Hmm. "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Now I feel like crap that being a retainee, I didn't exactly do "better than average" as many would have expected me to. Sigh. Should've just looked away. -- "Look away, Qiao, look away.." Gotta hit the sack. Hey you. Look away or something. "What do you see? What do you see.." |
