The Perfect Man
What makes a Perfect Man?
To have the forgiveness of this person... To have the patience of that person... To have the humour of ... To have the wit of ... To have the intelligence of ... To have the responsibilities of ... To have the skills of ... To have the randomness of ... To have the faith of ... To have the voice of ... To have the looks of ... To have the physique of ... To have the sporty-ness of ... To have the caring-ness of ... To have the suave-ness of ... To have the silence of ... Yet speak the wise words of ... BUT not the ego of ... not the insensitivity of ... And the list can only go on. The Perfect Man, I conclude, would have a combination of all the goodness of men we ladies choose to see in 'em. Some we perceive to have more goodness than others, others let themselves trip on their own drawbacks too many times, without even an inklin' of changin' for the better. But there is no such thing as "perfect". So there would not be a "perfect man". Or is there? "Perfect" is such a subjective term. Love makes one blind - sometimes for a short while, sometimes for forever; sometimes we become partially-visually-and-hearing-impaired, sometimes we become fully-impaired. Is love a choice? Most times we say that unexpected things happen. But is it that we allow these unexpected things to stay in our lives? If there were a Perfect Man, I'd reckon that he'd be a fantasy of sorts (a dream, perhaps?), or might be truly real - just that he's "perfect-ness" won't last for long or alas, that "perfect-ness" belies a motive, a very bad one indeed. Do I wanna find The Perfect Man? Sure I do. Who doesn't? Or do I not? After all, "it's all the imperfections that makes one perfect in our eyes". *shrug* Haha. And then leadin' back to one of the most unanswered qns ever: If we want The Perfect Man, shouldn't we also improve ourselves? "Behind every successful man is a woman." If shapin' The Perfect Man is pretty much dependent on The Perfect Other-Half, then we might wanna ask ourselves: What makes a Perfect Me? The song goes: "When you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of heaven." At first I tot, oh, how sweet.. And now I'm like, OMG DEATH-GLARE. The Basilisk. HAHA. Ok sorry, I wasn't tryin' to mock and doubt the beauty of that line kkkkkk. Haha. |
