Of iPhones and FB
Usin' Mum's iPhone to draft out this blogpost, I can't help but feel utterly amazed at the sheer ease technology brings us. All it takes is a casual sight, and one will know the estimated no. of ppl thumbin' away at their iPhones. It seems to me that outta every 5 commuters on the MRT, there can be abt 3 who own one, and are usually indulgin' in their music wonderland, or are lost in their world of games.

Those who own iPhones tend to try to "sell" their phone brand to me. From their earnest looks, I can tell that they're fully convinced by the potential their phones bring 'em, not that I doubt it, but increasingly, the phenomenon of iPhones is provin' to be overwhelmin' for me. There're so many things an iPhone can do for it's owner..so many, and so much more. Really, is there any other phone that can top the superiority of an iPhone? Maybe a Blackberry can, but look around and we can easily see which is the more favoured one..

Perhaps I'm being too objective? Or maybe all these are comin' from the non-conformist part of me. Just like FB, when too many ppl are usin' it, I tend to dislike it. I may not stick to being a non-conformist forever (becoz there really isn't a "forever", really) but the initial feelin' I get towards all-too-popular things/ppl is usually (well I'm not too proud to admit this) distaste.

Why is FB so popular? (No, I mean seriously) Hmm.. FB to me, is like the iPhone. Enormous potential, convenience and w/o a doubt, the everyone's-usin'-it trait. I know that w/o FB, a lot of ppl will find it very difficult to keep in contact with others, esp those livin' in foreign countries. Sometimes I do wonder to myself whether emails, phone calls and blogs are enough for ppl to "keep in contact". Do excuse me if this is too childish a thinkin' for you. But well. Let the girl dream eh?(:

So dun ask me when I'm next gettin' a FB account, or an iPhone. My answer will always be "No", "Not yet", or "Not any time soon".

Excuse me yet again too, coz my brain isn't functionin' optimally now, so my thoughts are everywhere, hence my points in this post will be everywhere.. xP

And oh, before I forget, may I ask again, is there really no other phone that can be compared to the iPhone? No other social website that is comparable to FB..?
