First Week of School!
Hello!

I won't say that my first week of school "WAS A BLAST!!" coz really, I still dunno alot of ppl (not to mention I keep gettin' lost in sch..), BUT, I would say that my first week of school was certainly enjoyable(:

I was nervous abt makin' friends, but well, Yao Ting helped me get to know more ppl! Thanks babe! Have a tiny circle of friends who I consider myself to be closer now, so yeah, am pleased that I ain't friendless(:

Poly life is really unfoldin' to be more and more fun for me, academically speakin'. I dun feel like slpin' during lecs and tutorials anymore yaye! HAHA. The lessons are really interestin', esp marketin'. While I'm still kinda apprehensive abt my new sch term and upcomin' projects and tests etc, I'm still lookin' forward to sch(:

Have to get used to the unreliable bus timings and gotta DRILL in the mental note: MUST GET OUTTA THE HOUSE EARLYYY!! Was late like, every day of the week! xP Sheesh mann. Embarrassin'. I wasn't always late when I was in CJ.. SHEESH.

Am lookin' forward esp to Sports & Wellness aka S&W every Monday morning coz I chose volleyball!! And I hope I can be good at it so I can finally enjoy a proper game. I rmb in CJ we gals used to have alot of difficulty just gettin' the ball over the net!
But well, the Monday blues continue coz class starts at 8!! Super early considerin' that 3 outta 5 days of my timetable start from 11am and laterrr.

Speakin' of Monday, last Monday was SUPER AWESOME (minus the dreadful downpour..) It was the 1st day of sch and only electives are taught on Mondays so I didn't have to bring the Mac which can, over some time, be freakin' heavy somehow. Wore shorts to sch coz it was S&W first thing in the morn. Felt so liberated lahh. Yaye to no more super long and stiff sch skirts! HAHA.
But well, after that was a 2-hour long Idea Jumpstart class - dun ask me what is it, it's hard to explain.. - and I almost FROZE mann. Super freakin' cold mann. Oh, in my Idea Jumpstart class, where ppl of different faculties come tgt, I met another vegetarian! Yayeee. Haha. And there's also this rocker-lookin' guy who said he loves to cook. WOW! Totally unexpected mann.

After sch chiong-ed to PS where DG almost died of starvation. (Whoops!) SRY MANN! Anyways, rushed thru awesome sushi (which took soooo long to arriveee) then ran like half the way (coz after runnin' for half the way we decided it's useless to run since we were alr late haha) to the Cathay to catch Date Night.
DATE NIGHT IS SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIE!! Super funny and all. Simple and straightforward plot but with a helluva jokes mann. Even tho we missed like, the first 5+ min it was s'okay coz that was the most boring part in the whole show HAHA.
And the best part? The 6-buck movie tickettt! Hahaha. Not so much abt me being a cheapo, but well, firstly, it's was a freakin' value for money in my opinion, and secondly, it's my last 6-buck movie with DG! As he finally ascends into another chapter of his life, he can say goodbye to student-priced tickets!! Before he pee-oh-pee (as quoted from YK) lah.

Oh oh, after the movie we stepped outta The Cathay and I saw, NUM sale!! Ladies' tees/tanks/selected sweaters goin' for 25 each or buy-2-pieces-for 35 bucks! Awesome discount mann. My dream of ownin' a NUM tee was fulfilled that dayy. HAHA. (But still hope to snag that pricey dress one day..) The NUM guy attendin' the booth was really nice and helpful. Explained to me abt the sale, how I can return to exchange if I didn't like the design that kinda thing, and even offered to help me search for a particular size under the mountain of clothes. He even encouraged me to make a mess outta the rows and rows of neatly folded clothes to look for what I wanted. His reasonin' was if the clothes aren't messed up, nobody will dare to come and pick what they want. HAHA. He does have a point I guess. It was awesome to shop there on a Monday afternoon coz I didn't have to jostle with anyone!
Followin' the awesome movie and shoppin' was awesome ice-creammm! It was my first time eatin' at Ben & Jerry's mann. As impossible as it sounds, it's true and I can understand why so many ppl like it. The ice-cream is really really good. But a tad on the expensive side.. xP The ice-cream at B&J was great but well, think I still prefer Island Creamery hehe(:

Unfortunately the awful rain (speakin' of rain, another torrential one has befallen on Singapore again, now.. xP) chose to end the awesome day.. The end result? Soaked socks, shoes and soaked clothes. Thank goodness I had a change of clothes but well.. DG didn't get it good at all mann. And his bdae bag collected water! I found that most amazin' indeed. =O

Nevertheless it was a great way to start the week proper. Haha.

I met Eugene Ko on Thursday!!!! We were so super excited to finally see another CJ-cian (of the same cohort) that we kept shakin' hands! HAHA. Corny as it may sound, I only use the handshake coz I won't hug him unless he's a gal. But well. Happy happy! Hahaha. Hope can see him more often and Mary Ann!! That gal's timetable is like totally opposite from mineeee. Sheesh. Too bad we both aren't as SLACK as that Eugene ar tsktsk. HAHA.

I MISS MY T29 BABES. PERIOD.

Alrights time to get down to the household chores noww. Will update again BYE!
