2010 Religious Seminar
5-7 November marks the annual religious 'seminar' where members of my religious would go over to Msia Boleh to attend the seminar/help out there.

Cross-stitchin' of the Goddess of Mercy.

Cross-stitched to perfection. (Y)

On my way home, the first song I saw when I switched on my iPod was, aptly, 'Home'.

Was a lil disappointed that my 2 Taiwanese and 1 Vietnamese friend could not come to Singapore this year, due to their work constraints, but well. There's always nxt yr(:

Over those 3 days, the things I've learnt are:
- the Taiwanese eat everything with chopsticks and NO spoon (even if it's provided), even porridge!
- that one should try to think of a solution quickly instead of panickin' and cursin' straightaway
- learn to trust myself more
- how to change a diaper
- to be freakin' patient when feedin' a toddler

The biggest thing I've learnt is, servant leadership. The first to awaken and the last to go to bed. Being proactive to help others requires one to step outta his/her comfort zone. And servin' with a smile, no matter how tired one is, is both rewardin' for the giver and the receiver.

Can't wait to go back there again nxt yr(:

Quote Of The Day, baby:

"Cause when the roof caved in and the truth came out
I just didn't know what to do
But when I become a star we'll be living so large
I'll do anything for you"
